It gets to about 85-90% and then just reports that it failed, then reboots back into the Linksys firmware. Also reference this post regarding the newer nv60k.bin for Linksys E-series. Be aware that some E-series use nv60k, and others use nv64k. Devices with Broadcom WiFi chipsets have limited OpenWrt supportability (due to limited FLOSS driver availability for Broadcom chips).
